A compound of formula M2O3, where M is the metal. Find out the formula of its Sulphide and Sulphate.
Determine the valency of the cations in the given compounds
(i) MSO4                 (ii) M(HCO3)2                  (iii) M3(PO4)2

Dear student

1.  valency of metal in M2O3 is 3 so formula of sulphide is M2S3 and formula of sulphate is M2 (SO4).

2.  In MSO4 valency of cation that mean metal is 2.
In  M(HCO3)2 valency of cation is 2.
In M3(PO4)valency of cation is 2.
