Here,angular momentum of the system is zero.
Moment of inertia of the dog is,
 I=mR22  (since dog is moving in radius R2)
and angular frequency ,ωd= n
so angular momentum is,
L=Iωd=mR24n
Now the moment of inertia of the disc is 12MR2.
Suppose the disc is rotating with a angular velocity is ω. Therefore angular momentum is
Ldisc=12MR2ω.
Now,
Ldisc=L
12MR2ω=14mR2nMω=12×mnω=mn2M, Option 2
