A golf ball has a mass og 40 g, and a speed of

45m/sec. If the speed can be measured within accuracy of 2 %, Calculate the
uncertainity in the position.

Using Heisenberg's uncertainity priniciple

Δx * Δp= h/4π

Δp= mΔv

Given, m= 40 g= .04 kg

Δv= 45 * 0.02

So, Δx= (h/4π Δp)

h= 6.626 * 10 -34 sq. m kg/s

Using above values in the above formula we get

 Δx= 1.4 * 10 -33m
