A magnetised needle in a uniform magnetic field experience a torque but no net force . An iron nail near a bar magnet however experience a force of attraction in addition to a torque . How??
since the field is uniform by magnetised needle so it experiencees only torque..where as iron magnetic field is not unigorm..so it experiences both force and torque
