Let x be the amount invested at 4% SI
 Then, (7000 - x) will be the amount invested at 5% SI
Now, According to the question:306 = x*1*4100 + (7000 - x)*1*5100⇒306 = 4x + 35000 - 5x100⇒30600 = -x + 35000⇒x = 4400∴He invests Rs
 4400 at 4% SI and Rs
 2600 at 5% SI
