Use of magnets in medicine or magnetotherapy 

Magnets are being used readily in the medicinal fields for eg., MRI(Magnetic resonance imaging) , a technique by which visual pictures of internal structure is obtained. It is a best way to see inside a body without cutting it open. As it sounds, the phenomenon of Magnetic Resonance is used to obtain images.
 Magnotherapy is one such field which make use of the static magnetic field in treating different ailments. However, no such results have been confirmed for its effects on cancer and other ailments such as arthritis. It is believed that subjecting the underlying tissues to different magnitude of magnetic field increases the blood flow .

an electric current always produces a magnetic field. even weak ion currents that travel along the nerve cells in our body produce magnetic fields. when we tuch somthing, our nerve cells carry an electric impulse to the muscles we need to use.


the magnetic field inside the body forms the basis of obtaining the images of different body parts. MRI(Magnetic Resource Imaging). these images help in medicinal diagnosis. thus it is imprtant uses in medicine....
