The population of Paramecium caudatum will attain a sigmoid curve. It is divided into various phases-
1.Lag phase(A)- Paramecium adapt itself in a new environment. Number of organisms remains same.
2.Log phase(B)- Cells starts to double that is cell number increases.
3.Stationary phase(C)- All the nutrients are depleted and growth rate becomes equal to death rate. Amd finally all the organisms die due to lack of nutrients.
