to change direction by 28 degrees in a distance of 44 metres Find
the radius of the curve (in metre)

Let the required radius be r

Now to turn 28° it has to cover 44 m

⇒ to turn 360° it has to cover $\frac{44}{28} \times 360 m$

⇒ Circumference of circle = 2πr = $2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = \frac{44}{28} \times 360 m$

⇒ r = 90m

Hence required radius is 90m.
