A solution of oxalic acid (COOH)2.2H2O  is prepared by dissolving 0.63 gm of acid in 250 ml of solution calculate molarity of the solution.

Molar mass of oxalic acid = 126.1g

 No. of moles of solute = 0.63g / 126.1g = 0.005 mol

Since molarity ( M ) = No. of moles of solute / Volume of solution in litres

  = 0.005mol / 0.25L = 0.02M

THus the molarity of the solution is 0.02M
