A thin conical vessel, when cut open, is in the form of a semi- circle of radius root 3 com. find it's Volume
Hello Muskan dear, here is the picture which helps a lot to do the problem
pi ./3 = 2 pi R
Here R is the radius of base of cone
So R = ./3/2
And slanting length L = ./3
Using Pythagoras, height of the cone h = 3/2
So needed volume of cone = 1/3 * pi * R^2 * h
Hope you would plug R and h and get the required volume of the cone
All the best
