active: he asked me to finish the work in time

passive: I was asked to finish the work in time.

the active and passive form of a sentence are given. my query is:
in the active form there are two objects that is "me" and "finish the work" .
the passive form always starts with the object then out of the two object which should be chosen and why?
also if I made a mistake in choosing the object then pls let me know how to find an object in the sentence?
