An essay of 250 words on "I want to be an officer"

Dear Student,

As a child, everyone has a dream to grow old and become a doctor, engineer, artist, designer, accountant etc. I also have a dream and that is to become an army officer. Since I was a child, joining the army has always been my dream. I understand that serving my nation and its people will not be simple, but it has always been my desire. According to me, the life of an army officer is full of excitement, adventure and challenges and I wish to face those challenges. India is a vast country. Its territory, boundaries, and coastline are enormous and it needs a massive defense structure. The army plays a key role in a country’s defense system. As an officer, I want to be involved and face a variety of obstacles in my life and serve the nation.
