Answer it quickly

Dear student,

When the body moves in a circular path with uniform speed, it is called uniform circular motion .
It is possible for a body to move in a circular path with uniform speed as long as it is travelling equal distances in equal interval of time, but the velocity cannot be uniform since the direction of motion is continually changing.
Hence due to the change in velocity, the motion is an accelerated motion, circular accelerated motion. Though, the speed may not change but direction will change.

The net force acting upon such an object is directed towards the centre of the circle. The net force is said to be an inward or centripetal force. The following diagram represents the force at different instances or at different points on the circle.

Hope this helps.
