Dear student,
the verse is taken from John Keats' famous poem 'A Thing of Beauty'.
(i) By flowery bands that bind us to the earth, the poet beautifully depicts the unbreakable bond between man and nature.
Despite the sorrows and pains of this lofe man continues to live for the love of these beautiful things. These are the sources of happiness that keeps us connected to nature and the zeal to live a happy and content life can be derived from the sight of the beautiful bounties of nature around us.

(ii) The above lines show us what are the difficulties and voids that exist in our lives. When we have lost all the noble souls from the earth and are in self-pity and also when we feel utterly depressed, even they God makes out the path for us to search and achieve our goals but we humans have chosen only the over darkened paths among them to reach our goals.
