Tips to write an effective diary?

The format of the diary entry should be as follows:
 

Diary Entry Date Time Dear Diary, (Body) Writer's name

Tips to write diary entry:

• The sentences should connect with each other. In your diary entry the flow of the sentences is lacking. 
• Take care of spellings. For example : exciting
• Don't mix the tenses. For example : Some task which are incompleted.
• Don't start a sentence with because. 
• Please proof read your diary once you have written it.
• Use approprite conjunctions to connect two words or sentences: I can start my new day with new adventure and a new goal.
