Applications of Graphene quantum dots.

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Graphene quantum dots (GQDs) are small pieces of graphene with a two-dimensional lateral size (less than 100 nm). They have applications in the biomedical field because of their ultra-small size, non-toxicity, biocompatibility, excellent photostability, tunable fluorescence, and water solubility, etc. They are used in bioimaging like optical fluorescence, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and dual-modal imaging.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
