Are centripetal force and coriolis force the same thing ?
They are different because the corrolis force is an effect whereby a mass moving in a rotating system experiences a force acting perpendicular to the direction of motion and to the axis of rotation where as a centripetal force acts on a body moving in a circular path and is directed toward the centre around which the body is moving.
