Are coronary veins and cardiac veins same or they are different?

Dear Student,

Cardiac veins is a broader category which encompasses coronary veins as well.
The cardiac veins returns deoxygenated blood (containing metabolic waste products) after myocardium to the right atrium. This blood then flows back to the lungs for re oxygenation and removal of carbon dioxide.

Hope this helps!
