Are kinetochores and chromatids same ?

No they are not same.

Kinetochore is the structure that attaches a eukaryotic chromosome to the spindle apparatus for separation during mitosis.

Chromatids:- These are the two identical halves of the chromosomes which are held together at a point known as centromere.
