Are voluntary actions active when we are sleeping?

Dear student,The sleep is voluntary as well as involuntary. When we are not sleeping that is we are about to sleep it is voluntary and is under the control of cerebrum. But involuntary when we are in a state of sleep and at this point of time cerebrum is quiescent and cerebellum is active....hope this helps,Regards.
