arvind has a kiddy bank. it is full of one rupee and fifty paisa coins.it contains 3 times as many fifty paisa coins.the total amount of money in the bank is rs 35. how many coins of each kind are there in the bank?

Let  one rupee coins in the bank = x and 
number of 50-paise coins = 3x
now, 

value of x one rupee coins = Rs x
value of 3x fifty-paise coins = 50 × 3x paise

As, it is given that, the total amount of the money in the bank =  Rs 35

Thus, 

number of one rupee coins = 14

number of 50 paise coins = 3x = 3 × 14 = 42
