can any non-metal be malleable, ductile or sonorous??

no

  • -5

think abt it...can u make plastic malleable ductile or sonorous???

it melts on heatin

so obviously the ans is no!!!

  • -5

yes .some non-metals can have properties of metals.

  • -6
I dont know about the malleable or sonorous part but non metals are ductile too. For example, chewing gum.
  • -4

No , as no non metal have found having such chracaters so it is the property of metal that makes it diffrent from non metals .

Sometimes we may find such but actully they are mixed with metals.

  • -1

yes,

carbon fibre, which is recently discovered is highly ductile non metal

  • 1
Non metals can never be malliable, ductile, or sonorous. These properties are only shown by metal.
  • -5
No there are no exception also
  • -8
yes graphite is the only non metal which is malleable and a good conductor of electricity
  • 2
Carbon fibre which is only non metal which is maleable or ductile
  • 0
Plastic sulphur ,carbon fibre are good ductile metal.these are exceptions
  • -7
Malleable non metalike
  • 0
No Non metals cannot be sonorous, ductile or malleable
  • 4
Graphite is non metal which is ductile, sonorus or malleable.
  • 2
Graphite
  • 0
NO THERE ARE NO NON METALS OF THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERSTICS
  • 4
None of the Non-Metals contains the Features as Mentioned.

Dear friend,
Non-metals are the elements/substances that contain the least number of metallic properties. I agree that very few non-metals (but even they are allotropes of them) possess some of the properties like good conductivity, hardness and lustre. But the properties that you have mentioned (malleability, ductility and sonority) are not yet found in any non-metal. Thus, we can say that none of the non-metals is malleable, ductile or sonorous.

Yes graphite Is only metal which is malleable and good conductor of electricity
  • 0
None of the non-profit metals contains the features as mentioned
  • 1
yes
graphite

  • 1
No
  • 1
plastic sulphur , carbon fiber are good ductile metals these r exceptions
  • 1
no
  • 0
No,none of the metals are ductile, malleable and sonorous
  • 0
No it can't
  • 1
No because non metals are not malleable not ductile and not sonorus

Yes it may be possible in exceptional cases . Like graphite (C ) is shiny and conducting in nature , Na being a metal but is very soft .
  • 0
no non metal is melleable or ductile . but some non metals can be sonorous .
  • 0
No non metals can be neither ductile, sonorous nor malleable
  • 0
no.....
  • 0
#manasa varanasi.....graphite is only a good conductor not malleable
  • 0
No, there is no non metal be malleable, ductile or sonorous
  • 0
i think no non metals exist like that
  • 0
i think its carbon fibre or no any other or non
  • 0
Graphite is metal that is malleable
  • 0
No non metals do not have the properties of mealiblity, ductility and sonority
  • 0
Yes bro
  • 0
Mainly no but their can be exception
  • 0
NO, As they are bad conductor of Heat and electricity,So they can't be sonorus, ductile
  • 0
only some non metals can be
  • 1
no non metal can not be malleable ductile or sonorus
  • 0
no

  • 0
no,any non metal not be malleable, ductile or sonorous
  • 0
Yes, it can be .
  • 0
Malleable. No
Ductile. No
Sonorous. No
  • 0
and also sonorous
  • 0
Copper is non metal and also available and confirm into thin sheets and also it is property of ductile and also sonorous and only graphite is non metal which is mellable and good conductor of electricity
  • 0
Nope
  • 0
No it can't be malleable , ductile , sonorous . ??
  • 0
no i don't think
  • 1
NOPE. ONLY GRAPHITE CAN BE AN EXPEPTION.
  • 0
no they can't
  • 1
No because
  • 0
no , non metals cant have these properties
  • 0
no it cant be
  • 0
Yes but not all
  • 0
No ,but a graphite (non metal) is the only good conductor and lustrous
