Can anyone describe Ladak in five points

- Ladakh is located in the northern part of India in state of Jammu and Kashmir.
- It extends from the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram range to the main Great Himalayas to the south.
- The Indus River is the backbone of Ladakh. All the major places historically and currently such as Shey, Leh, Basgo, and Tingmosgang are situated close to the river.
- Due to its high altitude, the climate is extremely cold and dry.
- As it lies in the rain shadow of the Himalayas, there is little rainfall, as low as 10 cm every year.
