CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN ME RUSSIAN REVOLUTION PLS?

Solution:
The Russian Revolution- which popularised the ideology of Socialism which emerged as reaction to Capitalism and argued for state control over economy, over means of production in order to create an egalitarian society. Socialists identified existence of private property as the basis for all evils in the society. They argued that the must own the property and must work for the welfare of the entire society.An ideology of Socialism was driven by the motive of bringing about social welfare through social ownership.

Causes :

a. Tsar Nicholas II, ruled the Russian empire in 1914, who was an autocratic ruler.
b. The Tsar could not tolerate any challenge to his authority and his rule was not subject to control or regulation by the Parliament.
c. Under his regime the nobility enjoyed high position and power for their services rendered to the Tsar.
d. The Czarist regime was completely insensitive to the plight of the common people.
e. The workers were given low wages, had to work under terrible conditions.
f. No political parties were allowed to function in Russia till before 1914.
g. The 1905 events, the participation of Russia made the Czarist regime highly unpopular and paved the way for revolution

Course of the revolution:
a. Refer to some important events like 1905, 
a. The Bloody Sunday or the 1905 revolution was an important event in the outbreak of revolution in Russia,
b.  Spread of socialist ideas in Russia can be attributed to The Russian Social Democratic Workers Party was founded in 1898 based on Marxist ideology.

c . The First world  war had a devastating effect on Russia, as its army faced heavy casualties, â€‹with over 7 million casualties by 1917.
d. As large supply of grains was sent to the Russian army, the country faced acute food shortages,  By the winter of 1916, riots at bread shops took place.
e. All this events made Tsarist regime highly unpopular.
f. February revolution  and provisional government came into existence, conflict between the Mensheviks and Bolsheviks
g. October Revolution and Lenin's call for April Theses,
h. The Bolsheviks taking control and establishing a communist state


Impact of Russian revolution:
a. After the revolution Communist International  ( Comintern) was formed for promoting  the ideals of revolutions on an international scale.
b It helped in promoting the ideology of Socialism that emerged as a reaction to capitalism, the ideology supported the interests of the working class and revealed the flaws of the capitalist system.
c. The Russian revolution also broadened the meaning of democracy, it identified that democracy is not only about civil and political rights but social and economic equality.

d. It also popularised the idea of state led economy and planned economy.

 e. Lands of nobles and church were confiscated and were given to peasant society.
f. Bolsheviks was against the private property, land was declared as a state property.
g. A system of centralized five years planning was introduced, which was to help in technological development, economic growth and removal of social inequalities

h. Stalin introduced his  collectivisation programme, in order to deal with small land holdings and with shortage of grains.
