Solution) 

We know area of circle = πr²

⇒ 22/7 × r² = 616 

⇒ r² = (616 × 7)/22 

⇒ r² = 28 × 7

⇒ r = √(28 × 7) 

⇒ r = √(2 × 2 × 7 × 7) 

⇒ r = 2 × 7

⇒ r = 14 cm

Therefore, circumference of circle = 2πr = 2 × 22/7 × 14 = 88 cm
