As we know, the velocity of sound is given by:
Velocity = frequency x wavelength.
In this question,
Frequency = 320Hz
Wavelength= 0.25m
Therefore putting values in equation
Velocity= 320 x 0.25 = 80m/sec
Now we know that
Distance=Speed x Time
Time = 10 sec
Distance travelled by sound = (80m/sec) (10sec) = 800m
