Can u tell me what is salivary amylase and what does it do in our mouth...and also pls tell what does it contains..???

Salivary amylase is an enzyme produced by the salivary glands in the mouth. The salivary amylase is also known as Ptyalin. It helps to breakdown the complex starch into simple sugars like maltose in the mouth.

our mouth contains saliva whixh secreates salivary amylase which helps in the proper mixation of food so that it becomes easier to digest....it also breaks down starch into sugar which easily digested by our body.

The salivary amylase is a substanse which binds with the food and breaks it into simple food so that it is easy for it to go through the food pipe, and it also breaks down starch to sugar.
