Such a marriage has to deal with challenges that are much more serious than a traditional marriage. As the man and woman are from different parts of the world, often their families do not accept such a marriage. If they do, then they do not happily accept the customs of their partner. This becomes a serious problem. A marriage is successful only when partners respect each other. This fact is much more important in a mixed marriage.
