The cytoplasm along with the cellular organelles is called protoplasm i.e., protoplasm = Cytoplasm + organelles.

It contains amino acids, lipids, ions, proteins and many more substance.The chemical composition of protoplasm is very complex. It varies from one cell to another.
It cannot be analyzed chemically, because, it ceases to be protoplasm as soon as it is removed from the organism.
