b) Prime number

c) Divisible by 6

d) A perfect square

Total no. of cards = 48
P(E) = no . of favourable outcomes / total no. of outcomes

a) No. of even nos. = 24 (i.e 2, 4, 6, 8.... , 48)
P(E) = 24/48 = 1/2

b) No. of prime nos. = 15 (i.e. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47)
P(E) = 15/48 = 5/16

c) No. of nos. divisible by 6 = 8 (i.e. 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48)
P(E) = 8/48 = 1/6

d) No. of perfect squares = 6 (i.e. 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49)
P(E) = 6/48 = 1/8
