Q2. Malaika is a Charterd Accountant is RSS Ltd. During the course of meeting with directors, she came to know that as against the previous years, this company is going to declare handssome dividend. She knew that when such news  becomes public, the share price will appreciate considerably. So, malaika purchased large number of company's shares before the date of annual results

(b)IMPORTANCE OF COORDINATION:
(1)GROWTH IN SIZE -As organisation grows in size,number of people employed by it also inreases.At times, it may become difficult to integrate their efforts and activities.For management,it is crucial to ensure that all individuals work towards common goal of organisation. But employees may have their individual goals also.Thus for organisational efficiency it is important to harmonise individual and organisational goals through coordination.

(2)FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENTIATION:In an organisation,there may be separate departments for production,finance,marketing etc.All these departments have their own objectives,strategies etc. EG- marketing department's objective may be to increase sales by  20% by offering discounts.But the finance department may not approve such discount. Therefore,coordination is needed to to ensure unity of action by acting as binding force between departments.

(3)SPECIALISATION - In modern organisations ,there is high degree of specialisation.Specialisation arises out of complexities of modern technology and the diversity of tasks to be performed.Specialists needs to be employed. therefore. Specialists usually think that they are only qualifies to evaluate,judge and decide .They do not take advice or suggestions from other members of organisation.This often leads to conflicts among them. So coordination is essential to avoid conflicts amongst them.
