'Cellular organisation of the body is the defining feature of life forms'. Justify.

Dear Student,

The statement says cellular organisation of the body is defining feature of life forms.
  • This is because all living organisms are made of minimum one and maximum many cells.
  • Simpler organisms which has single cell as their body are called as unicellular organism. Example; Amoeba, Yeast.
  • While higher organisms are made of many cells like humans.
  • Thus we can say that from most simpler form to most complex form of an organism is made of cell.
  • Hence we can say that there is no life form without cellular structure.
This explains the given statement.

Regards.
