"Gessler Brothers":
  1. Mr. Gessler is a  German shoemaker who is very confident about his shoe making skills and values the good quality of a shoe.
  2. He is the youngest brother among the three, and the protagonist of the story.
  3. He is a an old man with a short height. He has a red hair and beard and a wrinkled face.
  4. He is a very dependable and hardworking shoemaker.
  5. He is a perfectionist when it comes to the art of shoe making.
  6. Though he takes time in making shoes, his product lasts long.
  7. He has been making shoes and boots ever since he was young and considers shoe-making not just a mere profession, but a sacred vocation, an art of which he is a passionate artist.
  8. Being a perfectionist at heart, he makes shoes only on order and as per the need of his customers. He makes sure that the shoes he makes are not only durable but also comfortable.
  9. He is a master of his work and knows his shoes. He knows which shoe has been made by his and which is not. Also, he could tell exactly what is wrong with his shoes and which part needed improvement.
  10. He is a very honest man with integrity. He never compromised with quality. To him quality is more important than quantity and doesn't seem to care if there is no profit. The quality is never a compromise, it is a priority.
