Compare and contrast the poems The Snake Trying & Green Snake with the differences and similarities .

Both the poems seek to highlight the beauty of a creature that is feared and reviled, with man trying to kill it as he can. In 'The Snake Trying' and 'The Green Snake' illustrate the sleek and slender beauty of a snake, in the first poem it manages too escape but in the other, it is killed. Human beings usually have these two responses to things they fear, they either succeed in killing it or it eludes their grasp. Even if th creature has committed no harm, its very existence puts man at risk.
