compare the different types of fruiting bodies in fungi

The well developed fruiting body is found in higher fungi like Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes. The different types of fruiting bodies found in these fungi are: 

Ascocarp
​These are the fruiting bodies produced by ascomycetes​. They have different shapes​ and these are:
Cleistothecium: These are closed and spherical ascocarps.
2. Perithecium: These are flask shaped ascocarps.
3. Apothecium : These are cup shaped ascocarps. eg.Peziza.​

Basidiocarp​
These are the fruiting bodies produced by​ Basidiomyctes. The fruiting bodies vary in size from small microscopic to large ones.
