These are the main points of their character....
Mrs Hall was a hard working woman who ran the inn The Coach and Horses. She provided the best possible service to her guests which is evident from the way she served lunch to the invisible man and also offered to take his clothes to get them dried. She was quite inquisitive about her guest and somehow tried to know the reason of his using bandages by striking up a conversation with her guest. She is also seen standing behind the door of her guest's room trying to listen and understand what he was up to. However, she had her own sense of judgement and did not get influenced by her husband's opinion about their guest.
Mr Hall on the other hand did not quite remain engaged in any profession of his own. He simply assisted his wife in running the inn. He was a man who was easily influenced by Teddy Henfrey's opinion about the invisible man. He lacked a sense of judgement and never tried to know the stranger personally, quite unlike his wife. Also, he did not have enough courage to force his wife to ask the stranger to leave their inn. He even could not openly show his dislike towards the stranger.
