Conditions required for the growth of microbes :
1.?Water?- Bacteria need water to dissolve the food they use for energy and growth
2.??Food / Energy?- all Bacteria require energy to live and grow which they get from sugars , starch etc.
3.?Oxygen?- Some bacteria require oxygen to grow ( aerobes)
4.??Temperature?- Different microbes are capable of growing at different temperatures
5.??pH?- It is the measure of acid or alkali in the product. Most bacteria grow well at neutral pH but many can also reproduce from the range 4.5 - 10.0
