Steps of construction:1 Draw a line segment AB=6.2 cm2 At A , Construct an angle YAB=105°.3 Taking Aas centre , draw an arc of length 10.1 cm , which intersects AY at D.4 Join DB.5 Now , draw the perpendicular bisector of DB , which intersects AD at C.6 Join AC.Thus ABC is the required triangle.

STEPS OF CONSTRUCTION : ( for the given qn )
  • We can consider the triangle as A,B and C.
  • Now draw a ray BX.
  • From BX cut off BC = 6.2cm.
  • At B, construct angleCBY = 105*
  • From BY, cut off BD = 10.1 cm ( since sum of 2 sides (i.e) AB+BC=10.1 cm)
  • Join D and C.
  • Bisect DC such that the bisector of DC meets BD at A.
  • Join AC.
  • Thus , triangleABC is the required triangle.
