cucumber is a monoecious plant & date palm is dioecious plant but both plants belong to cucurbit family which bear unisexual flowers.explain?

The statement is wrong both cucumber and date palm do not belong to same family i.e. Cucurbitaceae. Rather cucumber belongs to family Cucurbitaceae and date palm belongs to family Arecaceae. So their characters are different.
