D society adores true love..explain this irony with reference to lord ullin's daughter
Dear Student
Our society adores true love but for them it should be perfect in all the aspects. Our society puts a lot of restrictions on us while choosing our life partner. They do not believe love as a feeling. It happens naturally without considering anybody's class or caste. But our society gives primary importance to these factors rather to love.
In the poem too, the father didn't consider her daughter's love or happiness. Rather he was more concern about his own image and reputation.
