Dear expert please explain structure of carbon compounds and hybridization

Hybridisation is defined as the mixing of atomic orbitals of different energy levels to create hybrid orbitals of same energy level.
Example: when s and 3p orbitals combine they produce hybridised orbital.
The structure of carbon compounds cannot be explained as such because each compound has different structure.
Hence please specify the compound for which you want the structure.
