ans- a) Isolation and loneliness 
The confinement and separation from the society was unhealthy and had disturbing influence on the residents who forced to like this .
Anne's overpowering loneliness made her realise that one could be lonely when surrounded by people.she felt distanced from the rest of the family .
she developed an interest compelling need for solitary existence. peter was a departure for her acute loneliness.
b)Growth from child to adolescent
women
Anne through the course of the diary develops and matures from an independent girl into an observant independent 
she makes an attempt to be peaceable where she rather listens than talks. became introspective and saw two sides of her personality. mide mature past her years ,precious 
c) fear of being caught
​in the diary we come across characters whose life was defined by fear,the fear of being discovered ,uncertainly of future and constant risk of being putting others life in danger
Anne's struggle to overcome fear were representative of the other members of the omen.the helpers would work towards protecting them in spite of putting their lives on danger.

d)selfishness of mr. Van Daan some selfishly hoarded provision for the family  mr Van Daan used to cook for all but was only concerned with putting forth the best for the family . she hoarded  food items.did not spare a thought for other family member.

e) family relationship 
Anne became disillusioned from her family . this stemmed from her mothers incompetence of being a good mother . she loved her father a lot whereas she had a fractious relationship with her mother. very little remained of the confidence and harmony that she had back at home
