in the case of ICSI( INTRA CYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION)
THE SPERM WILL BE INJECTED with the ova with the help of a micro needle.
But how the doctors will knows that which sperm will fertilise which ova ??
kindly explain this ?/
there are millions of sperm and ova producing in human being...
In ICSI, sperm is directly injected into the cytoplasm of the ovum. Sperms which are injected are the ones with good motilty and fertilising capacity. Large number of sperms are injected in one ovum. Hence, one of them ultimately causes fertilisation of ovum.
