Dear maam,
could you pls explain this question step by step.
The diameter of a wheel of a car is 84cm. How many revolutions will it make to travel 264km.

Dear Student,
Diameter of wheel = 84 cm

Radius = 42 cm

Distance covered in 1 revolution = Circumference of wheel = 2 × 22/7 × 42

= 44 × 6

= 264 cm

= 2.64 m

Distance to be travelled = 264 km= 264000 m

Number of revolution = Total distance / Circumference of wheel

= 264000 / 2.64

= 26400000 / 264

= 100000
