In Favour

She had a great love for the Chieftain and didn 't want to leave him.The father should have understood her feelings and agree to their marriage. But he objected it without actually going deep into the matter. So she has a right in fleeing away.By the picture we get from the poem and her talk,we can say that actually she was having respect and love for her father. She streched her hand out towards him. Lord Ullin 's daughter was in deep love with him.. She asked her father i.e Lord Ullin, but he cared about caste, creed, religion, as the cheiftain is not their caste. She got vexed up with her dad 's behavior and decided to elope with him. " As everything is fair in love and war" she is right in her decision.

Against

(i) As Lord Ullins daughter was not matured enough to judge the right person to whom she could get married. She was not right in her decision to defy her father. (ii) Lord Ullin was upholding the convention of the Scottish society in not giving consent to his daughters marriage with the Chieftain. According to the convention, the father of a daughter would chose the bridegroom so that there was no error in judgement. (iii) Lord Ullins daughter should not have defied her father as her father was anticipating something wrong to happen.

yes because she knew that her father will never allow them...chieftain loved him so much and after all she would thought that everything is fare in love and war...lord ullin deserves every bit of what he has suffered after seeing her dead..it seems that he was greedy an over prouded for his money as chieftain was poor he never wanted to listen to his daughter..he loved his daughter..but couldnt understood her feelings..
