Dress:
- Both men and women wore two piece clothes. The lower garment was like dhoti and the upper garment was like shawl covering the left shoulder.
- Large number of spindles, needles and buttons were discovered in the Indus valley cities. This indicates that the people knew the stitching skill.
- Dicing was their preferred recreation.
- Besides this, people were also engaged in bull fighting, hunting, fishing, making of terracotta dolls, etc.
- Agriculture was their main occupation. Weaving was also a prime occupation of the people.
- People were also occupied in cattle rearing, brick-laying, pottery, sculpture making, ornaments and metal tools making.
