Define liberty and its various concepts.
Liberty implies the enjoyment of social and political freedoms by the citizens of a country. There is no outside interference or restrictions and all citizens are entitled to such freedoms.
Liberty has two dimensions
a. Positive liberty implies presence of those conditions and opportunities which help individuals to develop their talents and potential to the fullest level. It is absence from the internal limits and exercise one's will .
b. Negative liberty implies freedom from interference by other people. It is absence from external constraints which may obstruct the enjoyment of freedom.
