define pseudocopulation

Pseudocopulation is the process of bringing together the opposite sex which happens during the actual copulation process that serve a reproductive function. It does not involves actual sexual union between the individuals during the process.
Example: Pseudoccopulation occurs in bee, wasp frog etc.
