Define the terms wavelength, frequency, time period and amplitude of a sound wave. how  are the wavelength a nd frequency of a sound wave is related to its speed?

WAVELENGTH : Distance between two consecutive crests or troughs
FREQUENCY : Number of times a wave oscillates per second
TIME PERIOD : Time taken by a wave to complete one oscillation
AMPLITUDE : The displacement between the mean and the extreme
Velocity = Frequency * Wavelength
Hope this helps you......

Wavelength :- The distance between two consecutive compression or two consecutive rarefaction is known as wavelength.
Frequency :- No of oscillations per second .
Time Period :- The time taken by 2 consecutive compressions or rarefactions to cross a fixed point is called time period
Amplitude :- It is the max disturbance in the medium on either side of the mean position .

Velocity = wavelength X  Frequency
v =  X lambda
