Delhi does not recieve much rain during retreating and winter seasons. Give reasons.
Dear Student
Delhi is situated towards the North of India north of 231/2° N . So it receives rainfall after south which gets rains from the Arabian sea branch . As Delhi is in the Northern plains so during winter cold winds blow over the region . Western Disturbances cause little showers during winter . Otherwise Delhi is almost cold and dry during winter and retreating monsoons .
